Gascony Painting Holidays are held at Le Grand Barbe, an 18thC farmhouse near the small medieval town of Marciac, home of artists Jamie and Suzie Peters. Gascony is surprisingly tourist-free, as it boasts some of the finest countryside in France providing the painter with an immediate choice of inspiring views.  From the stunning hilltop ‘bastides’ (fortified villages), fields of maize and sunflowers, terracotta-roofed farmhouses to the spectacular views of the Pyrénées, this area is known as the 'Tuscany of France'.

The atmosphere is friendly and informal and, having escaped the day-to-day stresses of life, you will be given every encouragement to relax and do as much or as little work as you wish.  Non-painting partners are also very welcome.
