Gascony Painting Holidays are held at Le Grand Barbe, an 18thC farmhouse near the small medieval town of Marciac, home of artists Jamie and Suzie Peters.

Gascony is surprisingly tourist-free, as it boasts some of the finest countryside in France.  Painters and non-painters alike are inspired by the stunning views of hilltop ‘bastides’ (fortified villages), fields of maize and sunflowers, terracotta-roofed farmhouses and the spectacular views of the Pyrénées; this area is popularly known as the 'Tuscany of France'.

The atmosphere is friendly and informal and, having escaped the day-to-day stresses of life, you will be given every encouragement to relax and do as much or as little work as you wish.  Non-painting partners are also very welcome.
