Lunch is either a buffet in the garden or a picnic spread out in the shade if painting on location, often followed in the heat of the afternoon by a welcome siesta. Dinner is a time for relaxing and sharing the pleasures and experiences of the day over various courses of excellent food. We drink the regions wine, and enjoy the gastronomic delights for which the Gascony region is renowned throughout France - all at a pace which allows the leisurely appreciation and digestion of good food. We use local produce and much of our fruit and vegetables are grown organically at Grand Barbe or bought fresh from local markets; eggs are provided by our free-range chickens and there is always organic home made jams and local honey on the breakfast table. We are happy to cater for vegetarian and special diets if notified in advance. Bon Appetit!
